This year's 2010 TAT Amateur Classic had over 2000 entries with almost 400 bowlers. The Brunswick staff was on hand for the week and gave out 750 Brunswick bowling balls to TAT competitors in just 5 days!

Although the entries were slightly below last year, the TAT still paid out all of its prize funds.

The Brunswick Challenge was held on Saturday and had 91 competitors which paid down 15 cash spots. 3 out of the Top 4 qualified for the $5,000 first prize and bowled a sudden death one ball roll-off to decide the winner.

In the end Joe Lopez was the only one who could come up with a strike to take the trophy. Debbie Ayers from Cajhon, CA, Eric Acon from Plano, TX, and Brent Bowers from Mulvane, KS all received $1,000 for making The Brunswick Challenge Top 4.

The two free Chance Tournaments each paid out $6,000 in Cash & Prizes and TAT competitors got up to 4 free squads just for entering along with up to 3 Brunswick Balls for free.

The First Chance winner was Kenny Calkins who bowled a 300 with the brand new Brunswick Revolver. The Second Chance winner was Chris Klerk with a 290 and they both received $500 for their efforts.

Rookie Killough is the 2010 July High Roller winner at Sam's Town

2010HighRollerDennisKillough.jpgDennis Killough (pictured with the trophy), the rookie of the final three July High Roller contestants wasted no time making his presence known in High Roller world. His week didn't start off well as he lost in the second round with the second highest losing game of the entire event, 254.

But undauntedly, Killough re-entered and advanced to the big game representing the Age 49 & Under division. Killough took home the $25,000 first place check. Johnny Manzella was second ($12,500) and Steve Calyore was third ($10,000).
